The 1st cycle degree in Communication Sciences: Journalism, Public Relations, Multimedia, based on a protocol signed among the Faculties of Arts, Engineering, Fine Arts and Economy, seeks to combine an education in Humanities (Social Sciences) with the new ICT, aesthetic and economic dimensions.
After attending a four-semester common core, students will opt, in the fifth semester, for one of the following areas:
• Jornalism
• Public Relations
• Multimedia
The degree has a strong practical component in broadcasting (TV and radio) studios, a multimedia lab and an online newsroom. Students will participate in the work in progress project development, both in a curricular or extra-curricular framing.
Career possibilities: the graduate in Communication Sciences is skilled to professionally exercise functions in the following areas:
• Jornalism
• Public Relations
• Multimedia Communication
The course aims to give students the access to a vast range of career possibilities, from the various journalism forms (broadcast, newspaper, online) to press and image agences and multimedia content production.
