 | The structure consists of two twin concrete arches supporting the deck by means of concrete columns.
The erection of the metallic arch that served as framework to each of the concrete arches was the most difficult task. Each module was lifted up from the river and connected to the previous ones in a way similar to that of the two metallic bridges of the XIX century.

The central module suspended from the ends of the two, already erected, arms was finally elevated in an impressive operation.
When completed, the first definitive concrete arch was molded.
The metallic framework was then slided 12 meters laterally and the second concrete arch was constructed.
The two arches were then connected and the bridge finished without
difficulty.
