This course aims to provide the student the knowledge and skills to understand and model the dispersion of contaminants in vadose and saturated zones.
The students will acquire skills and competences for the utilization of software, from the point of view of the user, that models the distribution, transport and fate of contaminants in the groundwater.
In particular, the student acquires skills for the utilization of models that will allow him to choose the soil remediation strategies that are best suited to each situation.
