The continuous screening of our scientific community’s skills (researchers, R&D Units, Labs and Departments) and of emerging technologies has 2 main objectives:

• From a technology-push perspective: to inform companies about the knowledge produced at FEUP, so that they can incorporate it in their activities and innovation processes;
• From a demand-pull perspective: to give an appropriate answer to companies’ problems and/or research needs and technological development.

This service also includes the evaluation, together with companies, of collaboration opportunities and the best strategy to follow.
