Teaching Standards Committee 2006/2010
The Teaching Standards Committee had its beggining of mandate at 18th of January 2006 and is composed:
- Dean of Faculty, who presides;
- Vice-President of Teaching Standards Committee;
- Directors of Undergraduate Programmes of FEUP;
- One student for each undergraduate programme of FEUP, elected by the respective body;
- Two students indicated by the representative association of students of FEUP.
The Teaching Standards Committee works in Plenary, in specific commissions and in eventual commissions, according with their regulations.
The Teaching Standards Committee has the follow competences:
- To give opinion about the subjects which are submited to it, namely about:
- Organization or changes of the undergraduate programmes study plans;
- Access regimens of the undergraduate programmes teached at FEUP;
- To propose the evaluation rules and the regimen of year advance applicables to the undergraduate programmes ministered by this school, to do its revision and verify its accomplishment;
- To formulate orientations in pedagogical subjects, specially the methods that ensure a good development of the teaching processes;
- To do the evalution of the teaching processes;
- To appreciate the expositions about pedagogical subjects;
- To appreciate and difuse the results of the inquiries realized about the pedagogical and social reality of FEUP;
- To appreciate the individual pedagogical activity of the teaching staff of FEUP;
- To pronnounce about the institution and attribution os scholars prizes;
- To approve its internal regulation.
