Comments:
  • (1) 1- The curricular units: Water Treatment Technologies and Systems I, Gaseous Emissions Control and Management and Solid Waste Treatment Technologies and Systems I are compulsory curricular units for students with previous consolidated training in structuring areas (assessed by the direction of the study cycle); 2 - The curricular units: Thermodynamics Fundamentals, Mass and Energy Balances and Solid Waste and Gas Treatment Technologies are for consolidation to overcome the diversity of previous training. Students who have gaps in their previous training in basic and engineering sciences and who have training in environmental sciences will have to complete consolidation curricular units.
  • (2) 1 - The curricular unit Climatology and Climate Change is mandatory for students with consolidated previous training in structuring areas (evaluated by the direction of the study cycle). The curricular units: Environmental Quantitative Risk Analysis, Coastal and Maritime Hydraulics, Industrial Facilities and Construction, Water Treatment Technologies and Systems II, Solid Waste Treatment Technologies and Systems II are general options. 2 - The curricular units: Advanced Water Treatment Systems and Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics are consolidation curricular units to overcome the diversity of previous training. Students who have gaps in their previous training in basic and engineering sciences and who have training in environmental sciences may have to complete consolidation curricular units.

  • (1) 1 - The choice of this curricular unit requires the approval of the scientific committee of the study cycle;
  • (2) 1 - The curricular units: Industrial Ecology, Renewable Energies I, Renewable Energies III, Hydric Resources and Protected Areas Management, Integrated Management Systems: Environment, Quality and Safety, Management of Urban Water Systems are general options.
