The Archive’s mission is to contribute to an excellent integrated information system through the management of the information produced in the course of FEUP's activities. It aims at making administrative information more useful, either as a reference, proof or institutional memory. The Archive monitors and rationalises the production and reception of the administrative information, and collects, selects, describes, organises, installs, and preserves information, also providing its access and dissemination.
