Mission:	To provide access to the required information to support pedagogical and research and development activities while also investing in preservation and diffusion of cultural and scientific heritage.
Description:	Documentation and Information Services are responsible for managing the Faculty’s scientific-technical and pedagogical information resources, their administrative documentation and cultural, scientific and technical assets. They adopt a theoretical and functional approach that integrates Librarianship, Archiving and Museology, giving prominence to the document, to information and its use and management in an organisational context. The SDI comprise the following units: Archive, Library, Museum and Digital Services, each with specific mission aims, resources and personnel but in practice integrated so that the new creative technologies, and the storage, dissemination and communication of information all play a relevant role.
