Joint programmes with USA Universities

Dual-Degree Carnegie Mellon | Portugal PhD Program
FEUP through PDEEC and Carnegie Mellon University offers a dual-degree Ph.D. program in information and communication technologies. Upon completion of their program, students receive a degree from Carnegie Mellon and from FEUP. FEUP and DEEC also established cooperation agreements with other USA Universities: MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UTA - University of Texas at Austin.

FEUP and other institutes associated with FEUP are host institutions. They are INESCPorto - Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores do Porto, INEB - Instituto de Engenharia Biomédica, IT - Instituto de Telecomunicações and ISR Porto - Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica. Cister - Research Centre in Real-Time Computing Systems from ISEP (Instituto Superior de Engenharia) is a host research centre associated with PDEEC.
